Meet Dr. Lauren Carlson
Dr. Lauren Carlson, DMD, MSD, earned her undergraduate degree in biology at Seattle University, where she also played Division I softball. She earned her DMD at the University of Louisville before completing her pediatric dentistry training and master's degree at Indiana University.
Dr. Lauren has always known she wanted to work with kids. She loves the fun and unpredictability of pediatric dentistry, but her favorite moments are when an anxious child leaves the office with a big, SHINING smile and a new sense of confidence about dental care.
She met her husband, Dr. Mike Seelig — Shine's orthodontist — on their very first day of dental school. After his orthodontic residency, they made Middle Tennessee home, where they're raising their two children, Lincoln and Lennon. Outside the office, Dr. Lauren loves spending time with her family and cheering on the Seattle Seahawks, Mariners, and Washington Huskies.
